He specialises in the legal aspects of creating and operating investment funds. He has more than a dozen years of experience in the comprehensive legal service of funds and investment fund management companies. He is a co-author of a commentary on the Act on Investment Funds and Management of Alternative Investment Funds.
He provides strategic regulatory advice to capital market participants, with particular focus on shaping internal governance and building a secure compliance environment. He advises on structuring activities under the AIFMD regime – including complex cross-border projects – and on matters related to the provision of services by investment firms under MiFID regulations. He manages complex implementation projects concerning such structures, covering also the digital operational resilience framework (DORA) and personal data protection.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and of the School of German Law (a joint programme of the Faculty and Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg). He continuously develops his expertise, actively taking part in specialist training and industry events dedicated to the capital market, succession, family businesses and trusts.
